I'm so excited to have partnered up with eShakti again as part of their "Look As Good As You Feel, Feel As Good As You Look!" program. Today, I've got a gorgeous piece to show you. When I started looking at their site, I knew that I wanted to get a dress. After some deliberation, I chose this one because I'm loving florals at the moment, and it gave me some serious retro vibes. Oh, and did I mention it has pockets?! This dress was originally a maxi dress, but I was able to choose to have it made tea length. One of the coolest things about eShakti is that everything is customizable! You can choose a collar type, sleeve length, and skirt length. You also put in your measurements and your height, so that the garment is really your best fit. They really live up to the motto #RealFashionforRealPeople. I think this length compliments my height nicely and makes the dress a little less formal. The length is also a great chance to show off my shoes which I love! They are a great basic black heel and surprisingly comfortable. I love the way this shoot turned out!

I've included a link to this dress in a different pattern and a few of my favorites from their site down below. If you grab anything, let me know in the comments below!

Hello! It's finally summer and you know that means...Wedding Season! I shared some prom picks previously, and today I want to share some of my favorite picks for Bridesmaid Dresses. I've partnered up with Millybridal UK, and I'm going to share a few of the things that caught my eye from their site.

For bridesmaids, I think it's always important to look for dresses in styles that are universally flattering. You want your friends to look good in your pictures, and you want them to feel good as they stand by you on your big day! Second, I think it's important to find dresses that are available in a wide selection of colors. There’s nothing worse than finding a dress that you love that isn’t available in a color that matches your theme. Colors that I’ve been loving for weddings lately are blush, gray, and blue! I think these all work great any time of year, and your girls can find them in a lot of styles. Third, I know for people my age price is important. I’ve known people who have had to spend upwards of 500 dollars on their bridesmaid dress, and that was before alterations. While I’m sure they looked gorgeous, this can cause some tension within the wedding party, and I think it’s best to try to avoid this. That’s another great thing about Millybridal UK! Everything is reasonably priced. Check out a few of my faves below!
I've always loved illusion necklines! This knee length gray dress is a great option for summer.
How gorgeous is this blush floor length dress?
I always love a touch of sparkle. Check out this mermaid style here.
Thanks to Millybridal UK for sponsoring this post! I mentioned that I always love illusion necklines. What is a style of that you always gravitate towards? Let me know in the comments below.

Hello! This week, the lovely ladies over at Dia & Co., have challenged me to try to face a "fashion fear" of mine. I'm going to step a little out of my comfort zone today. I've always loved the look of easy breezy dresses that you see make a resurgence every festival season, but I've never found one that I really loved. A big roadblock for me has always been the cutouts or open areas. It's always made me nervous to wear things like that with confidence. When I spotted this dress at Forever 21, I decided to finally give it go. It is a beautiful flowy maxi dress with an open back. It ties up in the back and has two slits up the front. It is super comfortable, and I ended up loving it a lot more than I thought I would. Check it out below, and let me know of any trends that you've been wanting to try in the comments!

This week, I am in Forever 21 head to toe. Unfortunately these items have sold out, so I've done my best to find some alternatives for you down below. The dress is a spitting image of the Ecote Strappy Back Safari Maxi Dress that Urban Outfitters carried last summer. If you're really loving this dress, I'd highly recommend checking out Ebay and websites like Poshmark to see if you can find anybody who is selling theirs.

I'm trying to make myself more okay with this time change by breaking out florals and repping my girl T-Swift. This skirt is from one of my favorite blog's collection at Target, Who What Wear (which is gorgeous). I tried it on when it was still in store and was lucky enough to find it on sale later. It was only 4 dollars at my local Dirt Cheap which only makes it 1000x better. A pencil skirt is always a good idea, and the midi length is a fresh twist on a classic silhouette. I love mixing dressier pieces with casual ones, so I paired the skirt with one of my favorite T-shirts (now on sale!) and high tops. Mixing and matching this way is one of my favorite ways to get more out of my closet. Not only does it make your pieces more versatile, it also opens your eyes to more options. Once I found the first combination that worked, I found myself much more willing to try more of my pieces together. If you've found yourself in a style rut, maybe try this out before you run out to the store to buy a bunch of new clothes. This way doesn't hurt your wallet.

Everything is linked down below. Who What Wear changes the patterns on their skirts every season, so that link is for the styles they currently have!

My purple hair has been inspiring me to let my inner aesthetic out. If I could look like this all the time, I really think I would. I mentioned last week in this post that I was planning on a short series featuring some of my favorite boots. Today, we're pulling out the trusty Doc Martens. They always give me serious 90s vibes, and I love how clunky they are. I used to make jokes about how if I could get one good kick to the shins in with these that I could win any fight. They are a classic way to toughen up any outfit. I also love the silhouette and how much of a style statement the pants can make (killer Beetlejuice impression, am I right?). Styled with all black, they stand out perfectly, and vertical stripes are always flattering. Since they are neutral, I can also wear them with T-shirts casually or let other pieces shine. I threw in a couple of lip options for you. Both are from NYX with one more neutral and one for my risk takers...

I had to do some digging to find the best matches for the top and pants because I did buy them a while ago. I found some spot on tops and great similar options for the pants for you guys! Details and more photos below!

Top // Old Navy // Similar // Similar
Cigarette Pants // Forever 21 // Houndstooth Pair // Gray and White // B&W Striped Leggings
Shoes // Doc Marten
Hair // Arctic Fox Purple Rain
Lips // NYX Lip Lingerie in Embellishment and NYX Liquid Suede in Alien
Necklace // Amazon Name Plate Necklace

If you've got ideas of more ways that I can rock this black lipstick, please let me know in the comments below! Also let me know what your favorite way to toughen up an outfit is?

Hello! It's been too long since I've posted an outfit of my own, and I need to take advantage of every second of this purple hair (I'm personally pretty impressed that I managed to take these photos in my backyard without my neighbors catching me). Now, I know this outfit is by no means revolutionary or super fashion forward, but I love it for its simplicity. One easy trick I've found for simplifying your life when you're stressed is building a uniform for yourself. I love anything that can make my mornings simpler and faster, so I thought it was worth a try. The basic idea here is to pick some staple pieces that you have a variety of within your wardrobe. Lately as the weather has finally changed here in Arkansas, I've been reaching for a sweater, jeans, and boots nearly every day. It's comfy, cute, and warm. Does it get any better? Also, it gives me tons of options for mixing and matching within what I already own. This is going to be the first in a short series of posts where I feature the way I style different boots. I've been absolutely loving these Madden Girl ankle boots! They go great with casual or dressy outfits. The heel is a perfect height so you don't have to sacrifice comfort. If you're needing some new boots in your life, you should definitely check out King Ranch. They have a great quality selection for men and women in a lot of different styles in a lot of different styles for the cowboy in your life or the girl who loves her fringe! All of my outfit details and a couple of makeup ones are linked for you!

Sweater: a.n.a. Green Crew Neck
Jeans: Old Navy
Boots: Madden Girl Torch Ankle Boot in Tan

Dress: Boohoo // Shoes: Calvin Klein (similar)  // Bag: Betsey Johnson (more colors here) // Glasses: Urban Outfitters // Watch: Kate Spade // Bracelet: Live Lokai // Lipstick: Maybelline Vivids in Brazen Berry

I've been majorly on the hunt for a dress with cutout shoulders for the longest time, and I finally came across the perfect one! I'm all about keeping it monochromatic and plaid never goes out of style. I love Boohoo for all things trendy and they offer some great basics as well. They've almost always got a sale going on, and you can join a website called Unidays for an extra 10% student discount if you're a college student like me. I ended up getting this dress for about half the price it was supposed to be originally which only sweetened the deal.
I'm also in love with the accessories featured here. When we got those Calvin Klein heels in last year at DSW, I just knew I had to have them. I waited and waited for them to go on clearance, and I managed to get them for $18 rather than their original $90 price tag. The same story goes for the bag. I love the lightning bolt detail, and its small size helps me keep the amount of stuff I carry around on a daily basis under control. All in all, I'm obsessed.

Talk to you guys soon!
