Hello! I've been having Teen Wolf withdrawals recently, and I remembered this draft that had never gotten posted. (I've also been missing the beautiful background that my hometown provides). I realize that this might not be the most stylish outfit you've ever seen, but I still felt it was worth sharing. It combines some of the things I love most: Dylan O'Brien, baseball shirts, and my trusty Converse. If you haven't watched Teen Wolf before, let me take a moment to explain. On the show, most of the main male characters play lacrosse for their school Beacon Hills. This shirt is a play on that with the number that Dylan's character, Stiles Stilinski, wears on the show and a cheeky nod to the werewolf aspect by replacing the cyclone mascot on the front with a howling wolf (shown on the left pocket area).

I want to take this moment to talk about a great website if you are a serious pop culture lover like me. It's called Skreened.com. It lets people upload and sell their own designs and allows you to custom design your own shirts. Because these are real people designing, you can find shirts for any fandom you want. Hello! I'm incredibly excited to share this outfit with you today. I was recently contacted by eShakti and given the opportunity to pick out an item to review. The coolest thing about eShakti is that their clothes are completely customizable. You send in your measurements and height. You can choose skirt length (mini, above knee, knee length, and mid calf). Also, you can choose between different sleeve lengths for dresses and shirts (sleeveless, cap sleeves, short, three-quarter length, and long sleeves). With all of those options, you are sure to find something that suits you. Personally, I struggle with finding skirts that are long enough for me to wear to work as I spend a lot of time straightening the sales floor. I'm quite tall for the size that I need to wear, so length is always a problem. I chose a gorgeous floral skirt to try and mix it up a bit from what I would normally wear. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I love the length, the pattern, and the pockets. If you like retro style clothing, than eShakti is a perfect website for you. I spotted a lot of things that screamed 50s and 60s. The only suggestion I have applies to if you are ordering something high-waisted like I did. I would suggest choosing a waist size 1 inch more than you really measure. I chose my exact measurement, and I know I would appreciate a bit of breathing room. I don't know how the weather is working where you are. Down in Alabama, it has been a weird bipolar mess going back and forth between hot and cold for the last 2 months. Today was one of the cold days. When I woke up, my phone told me it was 48 degrees outside. This weird weather makes getting dressed hard. You want to dress like it's spring even though it doesn't feel like it. That's what I tried to do with this outfit. I went for a brightly colored mint sweater, and I paired that with a floral patterned black skirt. Also, I got to carry my new purse for one of the first times! I am so in love with this bag guys, so I'm planning a "What's in my bag?" kind of post soon. All the info on everything is below.

The main points to hit for recreating this outfit are a white top, a black high-waisted bottom, and pops of red throughout. I even threw in red nails (Wet N Wild Megalast Polish in Taking the Red-Eye) and her signature red lip (Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 01). It is a super simple one to put together, and I think you'll get lots of compliments in something like this. Can't wait to share a more casual Taylor-inspired outfit with you next Saturday!

Do you have a favorite outfit that you have seen on a performer at a concert?

My main rule when trying to style patterned pants is keeping everything else really simple. Patterns can definitely be mixed and look great together. Mixing patterns is an overwhelming task, so I find it way easier to just stick with solids on the top. Not only do I keep my tops simple, your shoes should be simple as well. It is best to stick with a classic boot or flat. If you are going for a bold pair of pants, make them the focus of the outfit. Rather than just forcing them into an outfit, work everything else out around them. Here are the outfits on me! In the first one, I paired a black sweater with pink polka dot pants. Second, I paired an acid washed pair of jeggings with a simple graphic T-shirt and a cardigan that I stole from my dad. Third, I put a high-waisted pair of striped pants with a gray crop top and my favorite chambray shirt. I really loved the way they all turned out.
